This Certificate III in Information Technology is for anyone seeking a technical foundation in computer hardware and networking.
The program consists of two powerful industry certification subjects as well as technical training on how to build, configure and maintain computer hardware and networks. The certifications taught are A+ and Network+. The course teaches students the common body of knowledge within these two highly in demand certifications and prepares students to take the respective international certification exams

The Certificate III in Information Technology Course contains 4 subjects. Each subject consists of a nominal number of hours, which may include online lessons, virtual labs, tutorials, practical exercises, assignments, and directed private study.
The Information Technology Workplace
This subject covers basic workplace communications and general occupational health and safety requirements in business organisations and is relevant for employees working under direct supervision with no responsibilities for other people.
Using a Computer and Managing Data
This subject covers using and optimising computer hardware and operating systems and conducting diagnostic tests on a range of platforms.
Produce Technical Documents
This subject covers how to write technical documents such as work instructions, training materials and user guides in plain, easy to understand, English.

A+ Theory
The A+ Theory subject provides students with a compressive understanding of how to build and service Personal Computer (PC) hardware and how to install and configure commonly used PC operating systems. The subject covers the A+ certification exam objectives.
Network+ Theory
The Network+ Theory subject provides students with a compressive understanding of how to build and configure Computer networks and install and configure commonly used network operating systems. The course provides a theory foundation for a career in network installation and servicing and is a starting point for further studies towards a career in network administration, network engineering, and system administration. The subject covers the Network+ certification exam objectives.
